Sadly, this event didn't happen
due to heavy rain & high winds.

We'll certainly try again next year on the
first Friday in June.

NO Astronomical Observing at Fishcreek - Friday 6/1/2012
Page last updated: 5/13/2012 at 8:25 AM

Regardless of weather, we will NOT be meeting behind Fishcreek Elementary School tonight due to
prior commitments by all the telescope owner/operators you've come to know.  Most of us are heavily
involved with the ACA (Astronomy Club of Akron, Inc) and are committed to setting up telescopes
tonight for Camp CHOPS (Children's Hospital Oncology Patients & Staff).
This event at Camp Carl* is scheduled months ahead and we look forward to showing the
campers the wonders of the universe.

*CHANGED LOCATION!!  Not at Camp Christopher as in past years
Camp Carl is located near the intersection of Alliance Rd and Calvin Rd in Ravenna, OH.
Click here for a map and exact directions to Camp Carl setup location.
Setup at the indicated on the map
We'll arrive at the camp by 8:00PM to set up equipment.
